Invitation to Current and Past SALC Applicants:
Technical Assistance providers for the Department of Conservation will be hosting a three-part training series on how to increase engagement and inclusion of Socially Disadvantaged Farmers, Ranchers, and Tribes for projects funded by the Sustainable Agricultural Land Conservation program.
Trainings will be limited to 25 participants and held via Zoom.
The first two sessions are planned for 10am-12pm on April 30th and May 1st. The third session will be scheduled for a later, to-be-determined time.
Sessions will be a combination of information sharing, peer exchange, and interactive workshop-style segments.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and complete small preparatory exercises.
Please pre-register by April 15th. If space allows, more than one member of an organization may attend.
